FirstNet and NG911 convergence:
The New Public Safety Communications Platform

Join MCP LIVE for 60 minutes on Monday, October 30 at 2:00 PM EDT

Over the next 5-10 years, FirstNet will deploy the Nationwide Public Safety Broadband Network. As a parallel process, emergency services IP networks will be built to provide interconnectivity between PSAPs to allow for deployment and utilization of NG911 technologies by PSAPs across the nation. In this session, we will examine the major issues involved with the transition to this new platform for public safety communications and provide a glimpse into what the emergency communications environment could look like in the next 10-20 years.

Discussion topics include:

  • Why NG911 and FirstNet convergence is so critical
  • Steps the public safety sector should take to shift the paradigm
  • Ways in which these game-changing networks will affect the PSAP

Reserve your place today for this engaging session.
